The administration of the bond store registers forms the core of our business and we have been doing this since we started our business 10 years ago.
Due to the fact that BAC frames the import (WH) entry, the data automatically gets uploaded onto an electronic bond store register system, called the Integrated System (our service provider is Compu Clearing). As the WH entry gets released through Customs, the information is relayed directly back via EDI and is updated on the Integrated system. Once goods have been received into bond, BAC needs a list of product codes that will be given to each product (if different to product code appearing on the suppliers’ invoice/s). On a weekly basis, a BAC representative comes through to ORT airport and will collect a weekly (bonded) sales report from the various outlets. As per the Customs & Excise Act this sales report forms the proof of export that BAC would then need to present to Customs showing in detail the export of bonded goods out of the SOS warehouse. The Bonded Sales Report needs to show bonded goods sold/exported over a 7 day period: E.g. Monday 09/03/2009 to Sunday 15/03/2009 (all inclusive). The Bonded Sales Report would also have to run according to product code. The sales (exports) get captured onto the Integrated system as they appear on the Bonded Sales Report. The following information would need to appear on the report: a. Dates and invoice numbers of each transaction (listed by product code) b. Brief description next to each product code c. Quantities sold with each transaction d. Names and flight numbers of passengers that goods were sold to Fee structure for management of bond store registers is charges at a set monthly fee.
